The insurance policy should be checked too.

If associated with Trade Organizations, better choice

Since those companies you have listed may be one of those popular moving companies, they must have joined some organizations. That alone can make them reputable and would show their years of experience in this type of trade.

Look for skeletons in the closet

In other words, look for some complaints in the Better Business Bureau. Like with asking around, check for their records if they had some complaints in the past and whether or not they’ve been able to solve it amicably.
